dream wide awake and live
When most people think of “dreaming” they picture someone looking out the window in a daze. Or possibly a person all warm and cozy laying in a bed with their eyes closed. I personally think thats the quickest way of tricking your brain into thinking your dreams aren’t tangible…
I read a book a few years ago called “The Mind and The Brain” by Dr Jeffrey Schwartz and Sharon Begley. In that book they discussed thoughts and how quantum physics proves that what you think has actual weight.
Seriously! Your thoughts have a measurable weight to them!
That to me was heavy (pun intended) and made me really respect my thoughts and dreams. I began paying attention to what I was thinking and slowly began to see how it affected my emotions, nervous system, and even how I carried my body posture.
I don’t believe in magic really, but the way this book gave me scientific facts on thoughts… made me begin to believe in it again.
My process of creating art takes my dreams and brings them into the physical world. I realized I’ve been dreaming wide awake most of my life.
I’ve reshaped the world around me ever since I began respecting my thoughts and my dreams. That is magic… and we all have that magic within us to reshape our worlds.
DREAM WIDE AWAKE AND LIVE.
